When its doors opened in 1994, The West Area Athletic & Education Center began its mission of bettering the lives of the young men and women in its community. Located at 307 S. Geddes St. on the Westside of Syracuse, New York, the boxing gym is a not-for-profit facility. Maximizing upon its space and its resources, the facility's leaders provide a welcoming community through the sport of boxing.
